It is even more difficult to find brokers who actively use charting as part of their analysis approach.
Traders need brokers who provide fast order execution as well as advice and support when required. Brokerage rates are less important. A discount broker is expensive if slow order execution costs you trading profits or turns small losses into major disasters.

BROKERS SUPPORTING REAL TIME TRADING One of the most useful is the comprehensive Bridge web IRESS trading system. The operation of this system is explained in DAY TRADERS ADVANTAGE. This is currently being used successfully from remote locations like Darwin, Northern Territory, to trade the ASX.

Traders should approach the 'charting' offered by these style of services with some caution. Often the charting capacity is limited, the calculation methods for indicators are often unstated ie is this a simple or exponential moving average, and the charting packages are sometimes at the 'shareware' end of the scale. As discussed in Trading Tactics, access to real time screens allows traders to improve trading decisions based on end of day close information and derived from powerful charting packages like Ezy Chart, Metastock and SuperCharts.
