Using WinZip to extract attached e-mail files.

Download a copy of WinZip if you do not already have a copy on your PC. Download the free demo version. Remember, once downloaded you must install Winzip before you can open any zipped files. To install the program, simply click on it and select Open. Then follow all the screen instructions that appear on your screen to install the program. Once installed on your computer you should then follow the steps below.

There are 5 steps in unzipping files.

1) First create a new folder to store the unzipped files in.

2) Double click on the zipped file to open it.

3)  Highlight all the files you want to extract. It is usually best to highlight them all.

4) Use the Windows navigation dialog screen to find and open the TEMP folder

you created in step one. This is where your unzipped files will be stored.

5) Once extracted to the TEMP folder  the excel files, or any other file,   can be opened as normal.
